Top Jin Cut Paste is an excellent wound sealant for satsuki azaleas, and maples (when used with aluminum foil to keep the callous shallow).  It contains multiple compounds to ward off infections and other issues.  This dries orange.  To prevent this from being an eyesore, we will often use putty type cut paste over it.
