MABS 2014 May 02 2014
The MABS show was simply amazing. An excellent display of trees, some of the finest headliners including Takashi Iura, and an excellent selection of vendors. With any luck, future MABS shows will be held at this facility. It's only 20 minutes drive from NYC, yet East Hanford, NJ is easy to get into and out of. We had a great time seeing old friends and making new ones.
Our Porcelainberry were highly desired, as were our Japanese red and black pines & shimpaku. Be sure to check the catalog as we've added wire, sandflex blocks, and inexpensive shears for use while doing root work. Our next show is on the 17th and 18th of May in Rochester at the Rochester Community Hospital, where the Bonsai Society of Upstate New York will hold it's 41st annual exhibition and sale. This club exhibition is one of the finest on the East Coast and typically has upwards of 100 of the finest bonsai on display. If you're within a 3 hour drive of Rochester, NY - it's worth the drive. The exhibition is from 10am to 5pm on both days. Adult admission is only $5. Senior admission is $3, and children under 12 are admitted free.
